Time for a history lesson!
Fort Anderson in Brunswick Town is a historic Confederate fort dating back to the Civil War. St. Philip’s Church sits on the ruins of the fort, and isa beautiful brick shell of a building.
Huge arches characterize this popular wedding venue in the middle of the woods near Orton Plantation. If you’re a bride looking to get away from it all, you’ve found the place!
Ever since I saw photographs of the church, I wanted to do a styled shoot there with some of the best wedding vendors in Wilmington. As usual, they didn’t disappoint!
Jana Ingraham from Design A Dream Events coordinated the photo shoot, and brought on some fantastic people to make this an unforgettable inspiration-fest for brides-to-be.
Boho-Chic
We took this one a step further and split the shoot into two distinct “looks”!
The look below is what we call Boho-Chic – a southern twist on the popular bohemian theme that is currently all the rage in the wedding industry.
Stay tuned for the other look – “The Secret Garden”, which will be released VERY soon!
Until then, enjoy these impossibly gorgeous images.
