Erica and Derrick’s Wrightsville Beach bridal session was a special one. They came all the way from Colorado for it!

To be fair, they also got married at Bluewater Grill, which I photographed too.

They wanted an hour of creative photographs with just the two of them. No distractions from guests, just them and the camera. To be honest, these are always my favorite types of shoots. It allows me the time I need to get the perfect photograph, hopefully one that they’ll hang in their home for decades.

Here are just a few of the photos we got from their session. The sky was BEAUTIFUL that evening, and Erica even went into the ocean with her dress…BEFORE her wedding! I love a brave bride 🙂
