Every once in a while circumstances come together in a beautiful way to allow something incredible to happen. Devon and Rick Asadoorian were referred to me by an old friend of mine from Arizona, Mike. My friend’s brother in-law was Rick, and he and his fiance Devon lived in Orlando, FL. Mike casually inquired with me about shooting their wedding, thinking it was a long shot. Little did he know how easy it would end up being!

My girlfriend and amazing assistant Katie has family about an hour away from Orlando, so we made arrangements with them to stay at their house the night before the wedding. We drove down on Friday, shot their wedding Saturday, and then (after a 13.5 hour day) drove 2 hours north to Gainesville where Katie’s cousin Sarah let us stay. And it was AWESOME.

The drive from Wilmington, NC to Orlando is about 10 hours. It seemed like 5. Time flies when you have great company and Howard Stern keeping you entertained. I freaking love my job. I didn’t hesitate for a second when I learned Devon and Rick lived in Orlando. I love what I do, and I’ll go anywhere to do it. I’m so proud of what I was able to deliver to Devon and Rick, and I hope they and their family enjoy these images for the rest of their lives.

The wedding was perfect and I couldn’t have asked for a better pair of clients. Rick was as cool as a cucumber and Devon was a rockstar. Way to go you two!

Enjoy Asadoorians and Gerys!

P.S. – Devon and Rick got married at the exquisite Orchid Garden in downtown Orlando, FL. If you want to have your wedding there, please contact them now and ask for Megan. Tell them Marcus Anthony sent you, and ask for a discount 🙂
